if isole put out a record better than the new candlemass this new album must really suck

because isole sucks is what im getting at

i'll listen to this but im not hopeful of anything involving rob lowe, the guy's voice is just way to effeminate for doom metal

Yah. Isole had a great singer, but that's their only real selling point. I;m not too familiar with Lowe era Candlemass but i'll be sure to get accuainted with it soon enough.

lowe was on their last album and he ruined it

I like Lowe in Solitude Aeturnus, but he seems to have a hard time pulling off some of the more aggressive parts on the last Candlemass album.

As for the new Isole... I've never liked what I've heard from them, but the new one is actually pretty good.

it will be interesting to see how this stacks up against the last outing by Solitude Aeturnus "Alone" - which I thought was very solid. Actually I tend to prefer Solitude Aeturnus to Candlemass, but we'll see.
