Death Magnetic sounds like Metallica took a metal word and an adjective and just slammed them together.
Dragonforce's abso-ludicrosity (if that wasn't a word before, it is now) is obviously very deliberate. Ultra Beatdown delivers its namesake to Death Magnetic.

With Dragonforce albums, what you see is what you get. But that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable.

Just because they are not serious does not mean they can get away with writing one song, then re-recording it 9 times and changing the title.

Yeah, you have to be at least a little serious to write a decent song, and Dragonforce have written many decent ones, and some great ones too. I'm just worried that their sound is all but played out and that anything interesting that will come out of this album will have to be from a songwriting perspective and I don't know if they have that in them. But we shall see.
