Their latest showed some promise but failed to showcase anything more than just a good album inside a genre that's getting really crowded (Disso-Death). New tracks seem like a big step in the right direction. They are the best material they've written so far and start to showcase a polished, personal style that takes from bands like Immolation, Mithras, Gorguts or Nile without sounding too derivative. It's too soon to say but I think this could be their breakthrough album.
| | | I dug Corpsegod when it was released, I still do, and I think that the new songs pick up the baton from the debut.
Edit: two more songs were revealed at Bandcamp.
