Immortal Disfigurement is an american deathcore band consisting of members CJ McCreery (ex-Lorna Shore, ex-Signs of the Swarm), Josh Freeman (ex-A Wake in Providence) and Shane Slade (ex-Molotov Solution, ex-Fit For An Autopsy).

They just released their new song "Showcase OV Phlegm", which can be streamed below:

My favorite part of this band is trying to pick out sections that were directly ripped from Lorna Shore songs. The last track completely ripped off Sun//Eater can't wait to see which one they copy on this song.

Glad their drummer quit and is in Psycho-Frame now kid rips.

It's really hard to articulate just how douchey, derivative, and uninteresting this band and its members are.

This band was going to release an album back in January, but then their former guitarist, who evidently owned the masters, decided to leave the band the day before, and the album was never released.

Yeah I remember reading on facebook an apology to their fans because they had to delay the release. Peeps on sputnik seem to dislike this band but I think it's solid deathcore. I'm curious how the album will turn out

the album was kind of released, on the guys own youtube channel, without vocals. he had receipts to prove he hadnt been paid for his services. Then the 'band' released a statement that CJ definitely for sure has recorded the vocals already, and the delay was actually due to the guy who left who definitely totally hadn't finished post production (he had already posted the instrumental masters at that point).

If the album is somehow good after all this i don't care about the drama, but i reflect what franklinbumbleton said, its pretty obvious this band is a Lorna Shore grift trying to capitalize on the virality of To The Hellfire. The songs are decent, but devoid of original ideas.

This just plain sucks, mix and production is far too overproduced, lead guitars are wayyyyy too prominent. Maybe they should just try to sound like Nile or Hate Eternal and it would work out for them... maybe... probably not.
