This absolutely rips, been a fan of these guys longer than The Controtionist. Really excited for this album. Def seems like a bit of a mix of level 2/3 in a very good way. Loved Level 3 more than a lot of people but it did take some time to grow/has something a bit off about it and doesn't quite reach the heights of 2 for the most part.

And I have no idea if TC are even a band anymore with how quiet theyve been, they played 2 new recorded songs for us at VIP for the Exoplanet/Language tour and they were solid from what I remember but that was like 2 years ago and they've been radio silent.
But Lessard never "left" LCTR, they were just on hiatus while the guys had other projects/jobs but Level 4 has been something they wanted to do and planned on doing for ages, they mentioned it was finally in the works a little over a year ago maybe when doing a deep dive for Lvl2 on Twitch, which was also very cool.

Hard agree. Sadly they'll be releasing it piece-meal for the entirety of the album starting with patreon and moving on to full release after that with each track. I get why bands of this lvl of popularity have to do that it just sucks as someone who likes to experience shit in this genre especially as a full album. Just hoping they keep up the pace they have been so we wind up with a full release before too long.
