oh no! anyway,
|
| |
They obviously won’t, but bring back Jonah and make a There is a hell follow-up
|
| |
i just found out i can save 15% by switching to geico
|
| |
pretty spicy to fire the most essential instrumentalist in the band just weeks before your album drops and you go on tour tbh
|
| |
This band is done. With the exception of There is a Hell they never wrote anything worthwhile before Jordan. I love BMTH and grew up with them, so Ill hope theres some good stuff coming, but I dont habe any hopes.
|
| |
Strange to fire the guy who holds down your live shows. I wonder how the vocal performance is going to work now.
|
| |
"Just weeks before your album drops"
Apparently the album actually got postponed again
|
| |
good
|
| |
"Strange to fire the guy who holds down your live shows. I wonder how the vocal performance is going to work now."
My thought exactly, Oliver blew out his voice a long ago, i don't know how this is going to work for him
|
| |
Unrelated but have you seen their recent live performances? This band is following the "Satanism is cool" route all these wierdo pop and rap "stars" are going for these days.
|
| |
ONE STEP CLOSER TO A COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS 20 YEAR TOUR 2026 LEZGOOOOO
|
| |
Band was inconsistent as fuck with Jordan and without Jordan so I doubt him leaving will change that.
|
| |
What kind of cold-blooded statement is that?
|
| |
Drone folk album when
|
| |
yoko ono filling in for upcoming tour dates
|
| |
Something 🐟 y about all this
|
| |
Craig Jones is available
|
| |
'Strange to fire the guy who holds down your live shows. I wonder how the vocal performance is going to work now.'
This is a wild statement have you seen their live show recently? They upstaged everybody at download this year and it WASN'T because of Jordan.
|
| |
Can’t wait to see the bill the ghostwriters charge to provide all the production and composition Fish did. Exceedingly odd move. Wonder if it’s pre-emptive damage control.
|
| |
Wasn't this guy one of the more pivotal members in the band?
|
| |
jordan peterson?
|
| |
band rulz
|
| |
Really surprising. As I understand it, he and Oli write basically everything, and his influence on the band was pretty massive.
Rumor is that he wanted to get paid more, and the band currently splits all income evenly. I kinda get wanting more for doing more, but shit, if Oli has no problem getting paid the same as everyone else, I think you should be able to suck it up too. Just a rumor though.
|
| |
Band that relies on a computer to perform live fires their computer guy (who also co-writes most of the music)
|
| |
in the first half of the tweet, xxx left (with the language clearly indicates that he was fired), the second half, we're working on a new record, we're promoting an upcoming tour (we're happily moving on vibe).
I'm sick of seeing such bitchy and arrogant statements.
|
| |
Lol. I’d say the statement is pretty professional, if anything. They’re not airing any dirty laundry, they wish him well, and they reassure their fanbase new music is still coming. Honestly? I was hoping for some messier tea. But go off 🫡
|
| |
^ Agreed. And given Jordan’s statement and some other things, it doesn’t really seem like bad blood from either side. 🤷
|
| |
oli smells
|
| |
Can Sykes even vocally do more than one or two shows? Every live clip ive seen of them in recent years has been rough. Then again its been a long arse time since i wantes or was even curious about live BMTH
|
| |
From what little I know about the band, isn't this the guy who had a major hand in their new sound?
I wish him well though, and it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the band moves on.
|
| |
"jordan peterson?"
LOL plz back-fill the keyboardist with jordan peterson so its just the worst band ever playing over the biggest shit ever
|
| |
People are still writing about Oli's lyrics like HD festival performances don't exist? He's literally better than he's ever been. Look up their Rock am Ring set from this year.
Anyways, hoping for more Mick Gordon x BMTH
|
| |
How are his lyrics connected to his love performances?
Edit: I meant "live performances" of course, but my typo is way funnier
|
| |
"How are his lyrics connected to his love performances?"
I'm guessing that person meant vocals, not lyrics.
This seems odd to me. The statement is so short considering what a huge part of the band he's been and how long he's been with them. If it does turn out to be money related, that's kinda disappointing. I mean, I get it: he is probably the most important member of the band, and he probably does put in the most amount of actual work/time.
But like a previous poster said, if Oli fucking Sykes is happy to go evens then I think you've just gotta take it and be happy that you're in one of the biggest bands in the world. He can't be struggling for money.
|
| |
Im listening to the Rock am thing like was said, Uhm his vocals are better than last time i saw a clip but if this is "better than ever" its still pretty middling. A lot of relying on the crowd to sing the tracks. Jordans higher in the mix than Sykes, also Oli sounds weirdly quiet? The stage set ups impressive but eh i remember him being a better front man
|
| |
Also the long term guitarists and drummer must be kind of just there for the ride at this point
|
| |
Considering the contribution the guy has made since his joining, giving some credits in the statement could be effective in helping his future plan, but this stuff is way too short and official.
|
| |
I remember thinking he seems like a nice dude and a great musician when I watched the footage they released during the pandemic while recording Parasite Eve. It is kinda surprising he's not in the band anymore.
Then again, they haven't released a consistently great album since That's The Spirit imo, just some good singles here and there.
|
| |
Jordan Fish can go joining Architects!
|
| |
Lol, I might be down for that
However, I could see Architects water down and neuter his talent
|
| |
I came to say I hope he starts a better band but:
“Jordan Fish can go joining Architects!“
This is probably more likely lol
|
| |

Oli does sound pretty good to me these days. Far from perfect, but having watched his live performance lows over the years, I think he's come a long way in both his singing and screaming ability. Dude sounded like utter shit for awhile there.

I have a 15 year old bmth shirt with 666 and ram heads. So, to answer yout questionable question, no.
|
| |
Belovvd laid an egg
|

“ I have a 15 year old bmth shirt with 666 and ram heads”
Sick! Personally, I’ve always been a big fan of satanic imagery. Edginess aside, shit like baphomets, sigils, and infernal crap is just cool
|
| |
That’s so true mom
|
| |
Apparently he wants to focus on producing so I think this is an amicable split
|
| |
"jordan peterson?"
Yeah, no more Kermit the Frog vox : (
|
| |
“Apparently he wants to focus on producing so I think this is an amicable split“
Now that makes you wonder if he willingly quit and now they’re salty cause they’re like shit our primary writer is gone what are we gonna do now
|
| |
I do have a feeling that whatever they’ll put out will be good, because they’re either deluded or confident as fuck to part ways with Jordan and still be able to pull a good album off.
|
| |
This is actually something of a shame, although bringing back Jonah would be a huge W for BMTH.
|
| |
Yeah, just referencing their live performances. If I'm wrong, cool... If I'm right, cool.
|
| |
Oh no who will sing the songs live now?
|
| |
Band peaked with Sempiternal and he knows it. Probably off to do production instead.
|
| |
not quite as bad as mushroomhead losing their keyboardist and both lead singers but the band's still doomed
|
| |
Bring in Jordan Rudess!
|
| |
What did Jordan Fish do in the band? I haven't kept up with them since 'There is a hell...'
|
| |
keyboards, synthesizer, programming, samples, percussion, backing vocals
|
| |
Depending on your views about Sykes you could also argue he did lead vocals
|
| |
The label wasnt sending just Oli to ghost write other albums they were sending Oli and Jordan so this is a huge change for bmth songwriting.
|
| |
"Depending on your views about Sykes you could also argue he did lead vocals"
He shared the duty yeah
|
| |
I wish someone made a documentary about their attempt to make a Limp Bizkit album and Fred Durst fighting it every day for a month. Cant believe there is zero footage.
|
| |
According to Mike Stringer's insta stories, Jordan Fish is in the studio with Spiritbox, likely producing for whatever they're recording next
|
| |
^ oh shit
|
| |
Yeah, didn't see that coming
|
| |
Might make their music a bit more interesting
An album of Oh no!s but the spiritbox version when
