Terrible album artwork, but awesome song.

THE PRIEST IS BACK!
| |
Solid song, nothing more nothing less.
| |
Cool song - mostly in the style of Painkiller, but with some clear influences from Turbo. I agree, the artwork isn't great - I thought Firepower's was awesome and would have hoped for another Doug Johnson throwback.
Hope the album has some absolute killers like Firepower did. I still jam Evil Never Dies and No Surrender regularly.

| |
great song
| |
Very solid song, wasn't expecting Rob to sing this well at this age.
| |
I get goosebumps instantly.
| |
Very well done song, love the cheesy 80's intro and the winks towards Turbo while also delivering the classic Judas sound.
| |
Vintage. Kinda rules.
| |
Turbo fuckin' rules, don't care what anyone says. The parts of this song that sound like it rule hard, the rest is typical Priest awesomeness.
| |
Panic Attack On Titan
| |
Shocking they're still putting out music this good at this point.
| |
Cover art’s great!

Turbo fuckin' rules, don't care what anyone says

I would not have ever bet on hearing Halford belt out the word Memes
| |
Slaps!!
| |
Can’t wait til Tiktok discovers the “wild neurotic memes” soundbite
| |
Wait this sounds like they're 35 what the hell is going on
| |
I love this fucking band.
I completely wrote them off after Nostradamus once the booted KK. Redeemer of Souls was painfully generic then all of a sudden they drop firepower out of nowhere which can go toe to toe with their best albums.
There’s no way they should sound as good as they do here considering one guitarist isn’t even from the classic lineup and the other one has Parkinson’s.-
| |
And Rob Halford is like a billion years old. He was basically born when dinosaurs were roaming the earth.
| |
most rockstars from this era didn't even LIVE to 54, let alone have their band last that long
| |
For some reason, the only other song of theirs I have listened to is Painkiller but this new single is pretty great and I am tempted in finally diving into their discography. I cannot fathom the fact that Rob Halford is 72 and he still sounds this good.

Stop whatever you're doing and spin Sad Wings of Destiny. You'll thank me later.
| |
very old fashioned but slaps
| |
Vocals sound downright incredible
| |
Just how is this even possible
| |
Speed metal attack m/
| |
I don't know how incredible the vocals are but maybe they are truly incredible.
Like AI autotune level of incredible ?
| |
jesus that chorus is awful
| |
yeah but it lasts like ten seconds so I've elected to ignore it
| |
if the new album is anywhere near as good as "firepower" we're in for a treat
| |
Obligatory 'wild neurotic memes'
Looking forward to the album
| |
Firepower was really overhyped but this is surprisingly good
| |
Well this sounds incredible. The lyrics, on the other hand...
| |
goes hard
| |
Lol glad I'm not the only one who thought the lyrics were a bit dodge. Not bad at all though, I like that Richie Faulkner is so clearly an 80s priest fanboy and gives love to their synth era
| |
Solid Priest. Probably one of the heaviest tracks on the album
| |
You’ve heard more NoTrap??
| |
This shit wrecks!
| |
It's just a feeling ;)
| |
wild neurotic memes is just the chromium plated boiling metal of 2023
| |
chromium plated boiling metal goes so hard
| |
Saw these guys at the old maple leaf gardens in 82 god I miss those days great track
