Amon Tobin > yer shit 2021-09-04 by Hugh G. Puddles STAFF | 14 Comments | The veteran electronic maestro Amon Tobin has released a new track from his upcoming album, entitled "Phaedra."
The new Amon Tobin album is called How Do You Live and it will be his 10th overall, discounting his Splinter Cell 3 soundtrack. In Greek mythology, Phaedra married Theseus, slayer of the Minotaur. She kills herself in Sarah Kane's hideous hilarious drama Phaedra's Love. Tangerine Dream released their legendary album Phaedra in 1974. Amon Tobin's "Phaedra" marks a return to his sexy panther grooves after the more abstract territory of his two 2019 LPs. It comes out September 24th this year.
Perhaps this seems obvious, but what you don't understand is that this song is extremely fucking good, even moreso than the ISAM-esque "Rise to Ashes", also previewed for How Do You Live. Please shut up and listen to it and make some noise.

Supermodified / Out From Out Where is the easiest way in imo, or Permutation if you like your noir with max jazz. Wouldn't consider him overly technical outside of ISAM and Fear..., but those two defs go places
