Hype!
| |
Great.
| |
Oh dear
| |
Nice!
| |
Island of Doom? So it's about Brexit?
| |
That and the title of the album, Myopia (= nearsightedness), do kind of point in that direction, agreed...
| |
"The song is made up of pitched-down piano and cello pizzicato and vocals, all choirs are pitched down and up… In my experience when someone close to you dies it is simply impossible to comprehend that you can’t ever talk to them or reach them somehow ever again".
Well that escalated quickly.
| |
Explain this song.
Well, it has this soft piano intro, then builds different choir sounds. Delicate strings accentuate the vocals to build ambience. Someone died. It's on my new album.
| |
“Someone died. It's on my new album”
Not exactly uncommon
| |
Haha, yeah, thought so too! It came as lightning from a clear sky. Boooom.
| |
wasn't my point, m8
| |
Ok. It was Egarran's point at least!
| |
I meant that for the post above you. I was just joshing about her description. There must be context for the quote, like how a question was posed to elicit that response. But on its own it looks goofy.
| |
It was an understandable mistake, but that 'm8' was frankly uncalled for.
| |
lol what
| |
The BEST news. And song is amazing as well
| |
Ah yeah, that could be the case, that we've just got a snippet of the interview. I got it from Wikipedia, checked the source material but they didn't have a longer quote either.
| |
Agreed dmathias, I've been waiting for so long and I'm super glad she just takes her time and keeps releasing gold when she's satisfied. Can't wait to dig into this and spend some time with it, it seems like there's so much to discover in this track alone.
Like how the vox are layered at the start and when the plucked cello/viola is introduced. Hmmm.
| |
hyped af. Agnes has been a favourite the past three years, after Citizen of Glass. Album title reminds me of Rachel Sage's last album with the same name.
| |
Oh man agreed. Loved her a lot based on Philharmonics/Aventine, but when Citizen sunk in she became one of my absolute faves.
This track is super promising, very happy with it. The album is going to be another gem, I'm sure.
| |
Guess I need to listen to that then.
| |
This also makes me want to get back to making slightly more orchestral based music instead of the guitar based stuff I've been doing all year.
| |
excellent news, can't wait to hear
| |
Favorite lady voice for me. It's going to rule
| |
Songs still rules. Gorgeous atmosphere. Actually really dig the warped vox too.
