Absolutely killer. So glad they're finally getting the recognition they deserve, this album will destroy when it comes out!

| |
pleasantly surprised at this to be honest
| |
im pretty hyped for this too, both of these tracks bang
the transition out of the first sung chorus of "the remedy" is some good stuff
and christ the back half of CONSUME is insane
| |
Woah this was so much better than I expected
| |
that was surprisingly enjoyable
| |
Really surprised by this considering I always just saw them as a Northlane cover band.
| |
Love these dudes, I can't wait for the album to drop
| |
The album is called The Mortal Coil not The Metal Coil
| |
One of the best bands in the prog-metalcore mix right now
| |
Good shit.
| |
Not relying on djent sound or repetitive breakdowns, holy hell this was refreshing.
| |
I wish the vocalist would use his lows more, they sound so good. However I am glad that he's using more of that Sam Carter pitch scream thing or whatever the technical term for it is
| |
You're gonna 5 it aren't you
| |
Their first and second EPs were hard 4s to me, if they can somehow pass them in quality then I just might, but I don't think it's gonna be on the same level from these two songs, probably a 3.5-4
| |
The singles sound good, but I'm beginning to think they peaked with their first EP. Everything after that has been good, but not quite at the same level imo.
| |
Wherever I May Walk is still my favorite track of theirs, shit goes hard
| |
^ That song is amazing. Wish they had more songs with a similar sound. That said, these songs rule, and I am very hyped for this album. These guys are very talented.
| |
Yea they seem to have a slight shift in style with each release, but still maintain their core sound. These two tracks don't have nearly as much of the djent sound that their previous material did, and their first EP had much more proggy elements to it than The Guilt & The Grief did
| |
love northitects
nah good song and real nice dudes too
| |
I think this is the first metalcore release in a long time that I was actually excited by. I'd never heard of these guys but those two singles are pretty damn great.
| |
I'm glad these fine boys are receiving positive attention
| |
not bad
| |
Yeah it's good shit, too bad about being from Sydney tho.
| |
Hadn't even heard of these guys until now. Will be checking their upcoming release for sure.
