Okay Enslaved fans, if I listened to AEO and found it absolutely awkward, is there any album that might otherwise turn me on to them? Because while I'd love to get into this band, AEO did more to turn me off from them than pique my interest.

try Ruun or Below the Lights for something heavier, or RIITIIR for something larger and more progressive. That's prob my favorite from them. AEO is a close second tho

In Times is also a good try if you're looking for more bm elements, it has some of their heaviest stuff in years (AEO and Riitiir are better imo though)

thought they had some near-shoegaze moments on vertebrae, my favorite record of theirs. hope that's the kind of sound they're pushing here but i'm interested regardless
