Idolator and Epsilon have some pretty great moments, but there is zero consistency in sound or quality with this band. New material is pretty grim.

It sounded like an electronic song was playing in one tab while a melo-death track played in another - especially with how buried those clean/auto-tuned vocals are beneath the loud guitars and synths.

I literally was just like "I feel like listening to BSC" and put Epsilon on before I came to this site. Honestly though, this song is a mess and easily my least favorite new one so far. Like other people have said, it sounds like they have two things playing at the same time. Also, the music video STILL looks super amateur.

2. The type of synth based metal has been done better in the past
3. The annoying crash sound on the drum kit and average guitar tone which sounds something generated on a computer, usual studio production which I don't care for. The backing vox on the chorus are not high enough in the mix either.

no but like for real this actually is a terrible song, I'll give a few actual examples of what I don't like about it

- that electronic effect in the background is obnoxious and is like 15 years at least dated by this point.
- there's nothing remarkable about the riffs
- the vocals are mixed super low and are hard to hear
- the harsh vocals are completely toneless (so, very unimpressive, it sounds like the dude is getting in really close to the mic and doing a toneless "quiet scream")
- the production sounds very clean and takes away any flavour the instrumentals might have had
