I'm digging this more than the last single, but it's not as reckless as anything on Are You Kidding Me.

Definitely better than the first single but yeah, still feels pretty safe for these guys. Something abut the mix on the last one was a bit off too.

safe or not, that bit starting at 1:55 that leads to the 2:27 riff is absolutely bonkers

face melting.. holy fuck that's an appropriate image.

I'm confident the production will be top notch when it's released on disc, pfff youtube

This fucking rips although I still wish they had a different vocalist. Outro is mad.

vocalist does what a vocalist does.. he's a good frontman and it's not easy to scream, growl, clean sing and continuously change styles like he does...

Yeah I can't think of anyone who does multiple styles well you're right.

The song seems a bit calculated, but it's kind of hard to evaluate. Would be a near impossible task to top the insanity of Are You Kidding Me?, so maybe they're not trying. Or maybe they're lulling us into a false sense of security by releasing a couple of straightforward and safe metal tracks as singles. On re-listening to this I feel like it's going to be a moshpit staple.

they play it a little safer than on the crazy last record, which isn't bad in itself. we will see how it turns out in the end. at least this song rips

Much better than the last single, but it's still pretty straightforward and safe and it doesn't have that special spark that was on many songs from AYKMN. I hope the rest of the album has some surprises though.

Not great :/

Been fooled by bland singles before though - sometimes they're a lot better in the album's context, too

^ I think if I heard "Puritania" before any other track on AYKM..N I would never have listened to Destrage. That would have been a fucking mistake.
