If you could seee it through my eyeeeeeeees
You'd know I'd try to changee it aaaaaaaaaaall... woops, wrong song.
| |
The production is awful
| |
do people still listen to this band
| |
The opening and verse were actually good, then it went downhill fast
| |
Meh
| |
i didn't even need to listen to it and i can still tell this is absolutely insufferable
| |
Production couldn't sound this bad. Must be a bad upload or something. I don't remember the other songs sounding this way.
| |
this was okay but yeah the production and mixing as so bad. Why they decided Howard Benson for a producer I'll never know.
| |
They're trying to go back to like Sense of Purpose-esque songwriting, but it's so half-hearted and poorly executed.
Anders still sounds bad. I have no idea how and when he started slipping. I enjoyed his vocals even when no one else did, but ever since Siren Charms it's just been all kinds of terrible.
| |
Terrible.
| |
Although many disagree, I found A Sense of Purpose pretty inspired and meaningful.
| |
Sounds like breaking Benjamin making an in flames album
| |
The chorus was actually pretty good but holy fuck what's with the production on the screams in the verses, they are WAY too high in the mix.
| |
god that cover is atrocious
| |
Just as I thought. Im the only person here that thinks its any good at all.
| |
it's better than The Truth but that's about the best that can be said for it
| |
Sounds like everything they've put out for the past 10 years.
| |
I've actually enjoyed this. This album will sound pop as hell, but even that is better than the boring and insipid Siren Charms.
| |
Sounds like it's gonna be better than Siren Charms, but then the question ends up being how better. Cause I don't think it's gonna be by that much.
| |
At least there are *some* harsh vox this time around, I guess. Sounds kinda like Come Clarity-lite.
| |
If it sounds like Come Clarity then maybe I'll give it a chance tbh.
| |
I miss when this band was good
| |
do people still listen to this band (2)
| |
Come Clarity had sick production, this is in-line with the last two sound and production wise.
The vocals and lead guitar are so obnoxiously loud here. wtf
| |
Just as I thought. Im the only person here that thinks its any good at all.
You are not alone
| |
I'll probs still listen, but they haven't been good in a long time.
| |
I clicked this with zero expectations and was still disappointed. RIP In Flames 1994-2006.
| |
So fucking bad.
| |
"Sounds like breaking Benjamin making an in flames album" [2]
| |
This sounds nothing like the other two songs though. I think it's a bad upload or something. Also I prefer The Truth to this.
| |
Yeah the song sounds so hollow. Despite that, the song is pretty catchy.
| |
Le sigh.
"Sounds like breaking Benjamin making an in flames album" [3]
| |
Well, at least it's not the new Sonic Syndicate album? That's something, right? Right?
| |
"Sounds like breaking Benjamin making an in flames album" [4]
That chorus sounds straight out of Dear Agony or something.
| |
"Le sigh."
If you're over 12, don't say this stupid shit.
| |
"Sounds like breaking Benjamin making an in flames album" [665]
| |
Sounds like a b-side from A Sense of Purpose. I thought ASOP was pretty good though.
Album's probably gonna be a 4/10
| |
This may well be the first In Flames album since I started listening to them at Colony that I don't buy at release. Or ever.
Siren Charms was fairly abysmal, but this takes the poopy cookie.
| |
Holy crap that autotune.
| |
If it wasn't for their back catalog I don't think many people would give this any notice.
| |
In retirement
| |
The only thing they have going for them these days is a really solid drummer. Everyone else is phoning it in and anders clean singing is worse than ever. If they wanna get radio play, they need someone who can actually sing
| |
Joe Rickard is a good drummer, but he was a really odd choice for this band. Though I guess considering the direction this band has been going at for years I should say it's not that odd at all tbh.
| |
oh great all that remains has a new song out
| |
metal livezzz
| |
geez what a fucking travesty
| |
This is the worst song they've released from the new album.
"Joe Rickard is a good drummer, but he was a really odd choice for this band. Though I guess considering the direction this band has been going at for years I should say it's not that odd at all tbh."
lol. I like how you formed a new opinion mid-comment.
| |
yeah that comment is the definition of non sequitur logic lol altho i understand what he was trying to say
| |
This is bad with some interesting parts trickled in
| |
"This is bad with some interesting parts trickled in"
that's been the case with In Flames since Soundtrack to the present day
| |
THIS. That last album, the attempts at being melodic were weird. THIS is awesome.
