Eddie's vocals are pretty decent dude, don't get me wrong I dug Mitch (I actually went to his candlelit vigil shortly after he died, him and his family lived near mine and my mom's old house back when I still lived with my mom), but Eddie's decent too.

the cleansing packs a bigger punch than 90% of dxc. mitch's vocals are fucking beastly, the breakdowns fucking enormous, and the riffs well-constructed enough to provide a suitable counterpoint to the junz. if you can't hear that, I'm sorry but there's no hope for you and you should probably stop listening to music altogether.

I think "You Can't Stop Me" was a backwards step for the band. The last album with Mitch sounded like they were moving away from deathcore somewhat, introducing different aspects to the sound with guest spots from Jonathan Davis and the girl from Eyes Set To Kill that I forgot the name of. When Eddie came in they went straight back into the typical deathcore they'd been doing for the past few albums. I hope they can start to get back on the road they were on eventually.

Enjoyed the last album, and I am looking forward to it, but I'd kinda rather have more All Shall Perish

Honestly, as much as I liked his vocals early on, he was dragging the band to shit much worse than 'typical deathcore.' Black Crown sucked hard. I'll take typical deatchore over crossover nu metal any day.

Not for me. I don't think fun and deathcore are a good mix. Honestly, if Lucker was still around, we'd probably have two BMTH's and I don't want that. I don't even want one BMTH.

Maybe I should listen to Black Crown again, but from my memory he got as close to singing as possible without being able to not call it screaming. Honestly, it has been years and I probably only listened to it two or three times.

somehow whatshisname is a worse vocalist for this band than Lucker was. Hermida might be better in ASP, but Lucker had an attitude that worked for this band, despite the band still being relatively bad. Without it's even more boring and without any fangs.

I always hated Lucker's vocals. Could never get into them and knew I wouldn't when I saw them live. It sounded awful. After Lucker died, gave the new one a shot and thought it was pretty cool. You Can't Stop Me was repetitive, yeah, but it wasn't a really long album and the features were cool.

I'd give this one a shot.
