Song is painfully meh, but the video is cool. Hopefully this album will end up sounding more like the Flood and less like Restoring Force.
|
| |
That was painful, not to mention the repetitive and boring instrumentation
|
| |
so so bad
no aaron though which is good
|
| |
Actually really enjoy the cheesy nu metal throwbacks. Not a fan of metalcore, so i never appreciated their early releases. But i can appreciate the shallow novelty of this. Song isn't very good, but Restoring Force was pretty alright so i'll probably check this out
|
| |
So is 2016 the year that all phc & metalcore bands get super edgy again?
|
| |
nah thats been a thing since like 2013
|
| |
Yeah this odd metalcore turning into nu metal thing has been going on for a few years
|
| |
at least it takes bands out of the picture so i can focus on bands that dont sound like giant pussies
|
| |
Dammit Austin stop doing that fucking faux screaming bullshit you've been doing since Restoring Force and get back to the tones you were using on The Flood.
This is just lazy.
|
| |
he actually can't do his old vox anymore
|
| |
reminded me of dig by mudvayne
Song is garbage xD
|
| |
spooky! :^D
|
| |
"he actually can't do his old vox anymore"
How is he with the old songs live?
|
| |
really shitty
|
| |
Was it because of his heart surgery or has he just blown his throat out?
|
| |
prob a mixture of both
|
| |
That's really a shame.
The Flood will always be one of my favorite albums, and hopefully there's something that can be done to bring him back to those levels.
|
| |
better than anything off their last album combined by far
can't wait to 4 this
|
| |
snide you're a fucking moron have you ever heard biersack scream before
can't say shit about faux screaming
|
| |
thats snide
|
| |
"no aaron though which is good"
But Aaron is a good vocalist ;-;
He was the only good part of the Live at Brixton album.
|
| |
lmfao please he blows
|
| |
Actually torts, you just don't like his screaming tone.
Perfect Weapon for example even on his first album is actual screaming; this song is basically Austin just doing stylized yells.
|
| |
you are just the worst
|
| |
im
|
| |
Betray, I love you man
But you know I've gotta defend BVB
|
| |
I like the tone lmao it doesn't change the fact that its faux fucking screaming you idiot
|
| |
There is a very distinct difference between Austin's yells and Andrew's screams, not only in tone but in style.
|
| |
But you know what they have in common?
They both suck.
|
| |
that is a completely different point you just brought up you fucking M O R O N
|
| |
"They both suck"
Boy, you're triggering me something fierce
|
| |
No torts it's the same point.
Austin uses stylized yells
Andrew actually screams
|
| |
stop
|
| |
lol
|
| |
I guess this is really impressing the beatdown scene or downtempo hardcore scene or what the fuck this needs to stop
|
| |
Sounds more Slipknot and Korn than The Devil Wears Prada which is acceptable to me. Better than every other "metalcore" band out there nowadays even if that's not saying much.
|
| |
song made me want to kill myself
|
| |
Better than every other "metalcore" band out there nowadays
|
| |
Edgy opening
|
| |
Babies crying, brothers dying, and brothers getting knocked
Shit is deep on the block and you got me locked down
In this cold, cold world
|
| |
They really want to go with the nu-metal sound but Austin is a useless hack who can't sing or scream.
|
| |
this is horrific
|
| |
'PAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNN!?!!!?!!!!!!!?!!?!!!!!!!!'
I don't mind these guys usually, but this is fucking awful.
|
| |
wtf is this
|
| |
No Pauley which is good, however this song sounds so eerily similar to an A Lot Like Birds song. And it's not a good similar
|
| |
I really like this tbh. Reminds me of the bonus tracks from The Flood.
|
| |
austin is such a terrible vocalist
|
| |
I mean, it sounds different from their other stuff. Still not a very good song though.
|
| |
Sounds waaaay too much like older Slipknot. Everything from the stomp-like riffing to the vocal delivery.
I have no idea how anyone in the band can think this is good.
|
| |
Oh wow this does sound like slipknot but with unsalvagable vocals.
|
| |
why is this getting so much shit hahaha this is the best thing to come out of pop metalcore like ever
|
| |
This is just really bad
|
| |
nah shits good
also do not see the slipknot comparison in the slightest
|
| |
I mean this isn't a bad song but it doesn't make me want to buy the album either so...
|
| |
It's crap.
|
| |
My friend has been trying to get me into this band for a long time... I just never could dig them... and this is NOT helping. Luckily he agreed this was bad...
|
| |
Didn't the vocalist from Jamie's Elsewhere move to this band? They get rid of him or nah?
|
| |
Just popping in to say he can't do his old vocals anymore because his old technique was fucking awful. In fact most screamers that entered the music business around 2009-2011 all had awful technique and have had to change it in some way since then, leading to complaints from fans.
Song is alright imo but not great.
|
| |
Still shit. They haven't released one good album in their entire career
|
| |
"Didn't the vocalist from Jamie's Elsewhere move to this band? They get rid of him or nah?"
He plays bass, still there.
Also Facebook had this as trending news but got the album name wrong lol
|
| |
Every time a singer changes style, every single time, people claim it's because they can't do it the old way anymore. I can never figure out where that assumption comes from.
I ain't even defending the new style, I'm just saying I don't know how anybody knows that. I mean, if he's doing old songs the new way... He might be doing it because he considers it an improvement...
|
| |
@Muse: Austin's Fry Scream method may have been bad health wise, but damn did it sound fucking good.
|
| |
Stylized yells
|
| |
Once nice thing I will say about this is that I am happy to hear DJ scratches are back. Wondering if it will move djent aside and become a new trend in metalcore lol
|
| |
So, are they just a nu metal band at this point? I guess it's okay if you like that style of music, but my utter hatred for nu metal means that this song never really had a chance.
|
| |
Im looking forward to the album and hopefully this is one of the weaker tracks because this isnt that great. But i guess its sort of expected from a band thats always been nothing more than above average. I enjoyed their last record a little bit so I hope this is good. I'll be happy even if its a grower.
|
| |
I just want their first two albums again, once Shayley left they went to shit
|
| |
This is pretty enjoyable
|
