Lyric video is pointless and terrible but the song is pretty sick. Really interested to hear what this sounds like in an album format.

this is tagged shoegaze, rock, black metal and yet this song sounds more like generic modern prog metal wankery. someone help me out here?

More speed metal than thrash imo. Sounds like A Skylit Drive singing over a Dragonforce solo. "Air" has a very prog wankery sound to it, though I love it. Reminds me of Intrensic-era Contortionist.

Also, this band was shoegaze black metal for their two previous albums. But it seems like they're changing over to prog metal for this upcoming album

i mean it's fast yeah but other than that "speed metal" is typically reserved for a particular style of metal and this certainly ain't that
