B-E-A-utiful!
| |
really gotta check these guys ASAP
| |
No idea how to embed a Soundcloud stream
| |
that was gorgeous
| |
I KNOW
| |
Dear lord, the time has finally come
| |
There is nothing else this year that I can say makes me this excited when it comes to music, seriously wish I could see these guys live at some point soon.
| |
it's like they don't even know that I can't make it to the UK
| |
Wow this year keeps getting better and better xD Will listen later!
| |
Why you gotta start hyping me up now?
| |
I'm pretty sure I'll love it very much since their first album was kind of life-changing to me and the songs so far sound just as beautiful.
| |
Can't wait to hear this. Listened to EEB this morning. Hoping they show up at ATG again this year.
| |
ATG performance was great - weird you were there as well in the crowd of maybe 50 people haha
| |
Shit made me cry. Give me the full album now!
| |
Finally! My levels of hype for this after all these years is unreal.
| |
Still jamming it, hype is unreal.
| |
Where is the leak I'm so desperate for this.
| |
there was a leak?!
| |
No if there was a leak we'd know about it
| |
I'm just wishing there was one. Sorry, that was a bit unclear of me.
| |
Minty - people in America are now receiving their 'Under Summer' vinyls as Burnt Toast shipped them early. Any day now it should leak.
| |
this is going to be so boring. sounds very post-rocky (in the boring way)
| |
This sort of expansive music (in long movements) isn't for everyone. It's the kind of music you really need to concentrate on and absorb to really appreciate. Looking at your listening habits I don't think an 18-minute sweeping neo-classical/ambient/post rock song will hold your attention.
| |
Just got my vinyl today, going to be jamming it all night.
| |
Uuugh, so jelly of you. Please do tell your first thoughts on it though.
| |
Can somebody who got the vinyl share it among Sputnikers? Does it have a working download code or something?
| |

seriously dude? i gave their last album a 4.5.... as well as high ratings for godspeed. christ, i gave kashiwa daisuke's program music i a 4.5/5 and the first track is nearly 40 minutes long. my problem with this is, based on the first track i've heard, it sounds sort of generic. the first few minutes are beautiful, but then it sinks into post-rock tropes of a pretty standard buildup. idk, the genre has a tendency to sound really samey imo
| |
I didn't pore through all your ratings, just glanced at your pie chart. It wasn't supposed to be insulting. Yndi are pretty different from the norm but of course they have plenty of post-rock influences. Each to their own
| |
It leaked minty. Should tide me over until my CD arrives from BSM.
| |
But stella is the greatest song of all time tho Gyro
