I'd like to thank the nice mod who fixed the links
Never seem to get those right in news articles for some reason

and here is my first jam of the day
|
| |
same. sounds killer
hahaha vocals are hilarious though
should probably retag though, this is pretty solidly a grind release
|
| |
YEAHHHH
|
| |
Expecting solid stuff as usual from these guys
|
| |
@essence just tagged based on the band's history. Haven't had time to listen to this yet. Even if it does lean towards grind I imagine it must still feature healthy amounts of death/black?
|
| |
yeah it's death-y black-y influenced. feel free to correct me once you listen to it but it felt super grind to me
good shit tho
|
| |
Well they've always had grind influence in their sound so it wouldn't be surprising if it came out more prominently in one of their albums. Either way I'm not sure it changes their status as a black/death band because of a single album
|
| |
oh ya i don't mean completely retag the band, just the description :]
|
| |
the other album ive heard from them is straight war metal but this is a bit grindier. not big on the production
|
| |
I'm actually pretty used to the production now after repeated listens and think it works quite well, this is way more relentless than their war metal style records.
|
| |
Need to check this out!
|
| |
oh sweet
|
| |
you can call it what you want, but it's definitely grind
|
| |
it still sounds like revenge (aka war metal to tha max) but i can totally see where the grind comments are coming from, i got a few of those vibes for sure
|
| |
I'd say that crazy Revenge touch that makes then unique is a touch of grind :p
I won't argue that they've always been rooted in black/death but grind has definitely been thrown into the mix as well
|
| |
maybe it's the production, it's a bit cleaner i guess, a little less primitive and raw than war metal usually is.
|
| |
9/10 for me.
|
| |
Love this band. Needs to hear this.
|
| |
yeah i like this a lot, probably will bump. i don't disagree that the production lacks a bit of oomph but i don't see it as a big downside
|
| |
it takes a bit away from the experience for me but not a lot
