Ulver air new song

2015-11-03 by Voivod STAFF | 26 Comments
Norwegian avant-garde visionaries Ulver have aired a new song on October 30, at the radio show Baba Yaga's Hut, which is hosted on the London based, non-profit radio station Resonance 104.4 FM.

The song is called "Cromagnosis" and it will part of the band's new album ATGCLVLSSCAP, due out on January 22 through House Of Mythology.

Apart from the inherent electronic elements evident in the track (and the whole album), Ulver have drawn inspiration from '70s psychedelic/kraut/prog rock as well.

Ulver doing kraut is a phenomenal concept on paper. God, this has the potential to be up there with their best work (Shadows of The Sun and Bergtatt).

Ulver, which genre this time? They should try a mix of Pink Floyd and Black Metal

Very cool song, this album has the makings of having some of their best material yet given the direction they're going in.

Glad this made the news. Might be worth noting that those who sign up for the label's email list can hear 3-4 additional snippets from the album. The label sends the Soundcloud links via email. The sign-up is here: http://www.houseofmythology.com/

I definitely hear the krautrock influence, and I like what I'm hearing.
There better be some vocals on this album though.

Will work better in context with the album, like most late era-Ulver songs.

"Blatant Oneohtrix Point Never ripoff. Shouldn't be surprised, these guys have always been trendhopping P4K hacks."

name one supposed p4k artist that ulver have ripped off in their career
