"Fine" is the best way to describe it. Nothing mind blowing, but it's definitely Iron Maiden and that's more than enough for now. Still excited as fuck for the album. Also, it's great to hear Bruce still owning it.

Harris can always be louder, but the production is good; however, the song is pretty lackluster aside from the solos. Dickinson's performance is very strong, but the vocal melodies are weak by Maiden's standard. I don't see this song being representative of the album as a whole though.

Nothing amazing, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm glad to see it's far more straightforward and catchy than the last few albums; was getting a bit tired of the prog rock shtick.

Where was the boring breakdown, ear-bleeding unintelligible screaming and bland palm-muted monotone riffing? Song sucks, gonna go spin Jane Doe for the 5th time and masturbate to Jacob Bannon some more.

The song is decent. It's no Wicker Man but it has that classic Maiden vibe to it.

On another note, they seem to have a habit of releasing the weakest song on their albums as their lead single since Virtual XI, so the plus side is that there's bound to be stronger material. Still excited for this album.

UP THE IRONS!!!

I loved when El Dorado was released and it's still a great song. This doesn't have the same effect, but it's still a good track. The best Maiden has been from post-Brave New World generally comes from the epic tracks.

Song was okay. Loved the solo, but then I always love Maiden solos.

At the very least I'm anticipating a 3.5 for this album judging from this song alone. Of course, I love Maiden's epics so it will possibly be higher if the length is truly justified.

Can't wait for them to come back to Dublin once they begin touring next year.

It really makes me happy to hear them 'loosening up' their sound again a little, they needed it after The Final Frontier. Rather looking forward to the entire thing.

Hahaha nice, Fear of the Dark is a good starter, it's pretty catchy.
This week I'll jam Live After Death in the car...let's see if they like some songs, like Number of the Beast, Powerslave or Run to the Hills.
