Bon Jovi release two new songs 2015-07-23 by Daniel Dias | 17 Comments | American rock group Bon Jovi has announced a release of two new singles, as well as an upcoming compilation album Burning Bridges, scheduled for release on August 21st. The songs are titled Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning and We Don't Run.
About the album, a spokesperson for Bon Jovi said: "Burning Bridges is an album for fans and will accompany an upcoming international tour". The statement confounded some Bon Jovi fans on the social media, who figured it'd be a full length studio album. It was later confirmed that Burning Bridges will actually be a compilation album, made up of some of the band's biggest successes and some never-before heard tracks.
It will be the first Bon Jovi release to not feature lead guitarist Richie Sambora, who surprisingly announced his departure in late 2013, since the band's inception. Sambora has been since then replaced by Phil X. The band has also announced that a new studio album is scheduled for a Spring 2016 release.

Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning
| | | There are no good Bon Jovi songs, so I really cannot see the point in their continued attempts at songwriting.
| | | FINALLY WHAT WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR
| | | my first concert was bon jovi. no shame
| | | Well 'We Don't Run' is gonna be the song used for some sporting event somewhere in the next year. It just has that generic anthem sound that just fits a sport montage. That said both songs are average though I expected nothing less from a band who hasn't put out something considered good since the 80's.
| | | There are no good Bon Jovi songs [2]
| | | True. Just not recently.
| | | There are a few decent Bon Jovi songs. The last one is about 15 years old, so I guess they could stop now?
| | | Never liked these guys but "Wanted Dead Or Alive" rules don't lie.
| | | They have like four decent songs and three of them are from the 80s. None of their albums are any good, they're rightly fecked without Sambora.
| | | edit
| | | thought this was a bon iver article
| | | We Don't Run sounds like new Fall Out Boy, just with JBJ on vocals.
| | | my mom is so excited
| | | Oh no
| | | Slippery When Wet has jams, don't lie.
| | | So do the next 3 albums.
