The first full-length record by punky power pop duo Antarctigo Vespucci is available for streaming on The A.V. Club's website. Entitled Leavin' La Vida Loca, the record serves up ten new tracks written by lead singer/guitarist Chris Farren, arranged and recorded by guitarist/backing vocalist Jeff Rosenstock, with special guest Benny Horowitz of The Gaslight Anthem returning to play the drums as he has done on the band's previous releases. The album will be available for free tomorrow (July 24) from Jeff's web label Quote Unquote Records, while pre-orders for vinyl and cassette copies can be made through Jeff's other label, Really Records.
Farren is currently out on a lengthy U.S. tour with fellow solo rockers Dave Hause and Rocky Votolato, while Rosenstock kicks off a run of shows with Dan Andriano, Pet Symmetry, Spraynard, High Dive in Baltimore on the 28th. Both artists will then reconvene at Gainesville's The Fest at the end of October for the first Antarctigo Vespucci shows since the release of Leavin' La Vida Loca.
