Scarlet release new song

2014-08-31 by Dan Gibbes | 19 Comments
Richmond, VA based chaotic metalcore band Scarlet has released their first material since their hiatus was announced in 2006.

The song, entitled 'The Acid Reign', was recorded in 2009 and is just now being released. It's also the first song to feature original vocalist Jon Spencer (now of Spitfire) since 2004's Cult Classic.

Check it out on original bassist Chris Hagen's YouTube channel here:

Song rules, but this had me under the impression they were coming back, I am now overcome with sadness.

Yeah, Andreas is just way too busy with recording at Planet Red to do this, and it sucks because these songs rule.
