That intro is a mix of Dream House and The Pecan Tree.
The song is pretty good, but it sounds so much like every other song on Sunbather. However, the vocals are really enjoyable on this, and there is a sweet climax in the middle.

Was this the one that they played in that live video? It sounds a lot better on the recording

Not a huge departure from the Sunbather sound, but a pretty sweet song on its own merits

Vox are actually good on this. Not sure how I feel about this band. I like something about them but can't fully get into it.

Woah, the section starting just after 1:40 is gnarly. They should do more of that.

Actually like this. It sounds like something off of Sunbather but more polished and a little bit more metal. The guitars sounds more pronounced which works in the song's favour.

I really like how they layered in the deep vocals too. I'm really excited to hear what this band does in the future, but I thought Sunbather was classic

Love the heavier sound they're going for on this. Not a huge departure from Sunbather, but still a great sound to my ears.

Nah, I heard they were incredible live, but the video they posted of this song being played live was kind of bad.

I saw them live in Tampa recently and it was amazing, though they have some awful fans.

Song is sick, that riffing at 1:45 sounds like it was ripped out of a Dark Tranquillty song.

yeah i saw them with pallbearer at the end of june and they sounded very good that night. i think its obvious from that live vid that there was something very wrong with the mix. kerry looked confused and you could barely hear his guitar work. then when you could it sounded like mud.

The vocals on Sunbather were pretty much a nonentity, but they make the song in certain places on this. It's great.

Not a huge fan of this vocal style so I'm not sure how I feel about them actually being so stand out in mix. Love the music though, sounds close to the Sunbather sound, which I'm totally okay with.

Enjoyed this albeit sounding incredibly similar to Sunbather material, though the heavier section was surprisingly satisfying. As much as the hipsters love this band and the proto-hipsters love to hate on them, I think they're a strong upcoming act and stoked to hear their next endeavor.

These guys slay live, but they are a small venue act. Large stages and whatnot just don't work for them.

Song is fantastic. The missing link between RTJ and Sunbather. Can't wait for the free download Monday

It seems a little more digestible for non black metal fans. More variety too and the vocals seem less black metal, more straight high scream. Less screechy rasp.

Not at all they blend genres pretty well meatier riffs would be awkward here

Cappa

I meant how they "blend" the guitars - don't know how to describe it. It can be used tastefully but I think that many blackgaze bands overdo this. It's like there aren't riffs or something, just blendy shit.
