Within the Ruins stream Phenomena

2014-07-22 by Andrew W. Gold CONTRIBUTOR | 15 Comments
Massachusetts-based metalcore band Within the Ruins has premiered the stream of their new album, Phenomena, which is to be in stores Tuesday, July 22nd.

Guitarist Joe Cocchi said this about the record:

"We took six months off over the winter too eat, sleep and breathe this album. It was by far the most in depth we've ever gone in the writing process. Since the inception of this band, our attitude has always been to completely trump our previous efforts in every aspect, and I think we did just that. We're beyond stoked for people to hear this one."

While most of this genre is *yawn*, I thoroughly enjoyed one of the instrumental play throughs they posted off this album. We'll see if generic vocals can ruin it.
