Uggh, all the released songs have been so meh. At least "Burn It Down" was something to hold onto a couple years ago. These have all been neither terrible nor anything to phone home about.

All 3 songs are better than Burn it Down.

Burn it Down was terrible. Lost in the Echo was great though.

This new album is shaping better than previous efforts, but the production bothers me.

Burn It Down was average, about par with this in plain average-ness.

Actually saw the rock in rio presentation. Vocals were better than in the M2M and ATS era, actually
since 2012 have faced a little improvement.

Burn it down is catchy but not outstanding, lost in the echo is 9/10. I actually think that living things was a decent effort, still it has notorious flaws ( lies greed misery and skin to bone are repulsive)

Meh not bad just boring, Living Things was actually pretty good but it sounds like they dropped everything I liked about that album.

The main issue with the LP's new albums is that they dropped the good things of the previous effort. Example: In ATS LP dropped the guitar work that made tracks like no more sorrow and the little things give you away interesting, In Living Things they dropped the concept of ATS which was good but not very well executed

These guys haven't been relevant since Meteora got old. RIP.

Nope . This song is weakkk

It's kind of growing on me but the last CD i got from them was Meteora. It will probably stay that way unless I dig some more songs from this release.

i dont get it, mike said he jammed botch and other math metal type stuff in an interview and that it rubs off on this new album... i dont hear it, this sounds similar to their other stuff but with holy god fucking worst production what is this shit like seriously, the album will be unlistenable

I liked the 3 songs, but GATS is the most interesting one, until is gone is decent but not remarkable, this one has its moments but still chester sounds kinda weak and production is not the best ( specially considering how polished are the previous LP efforts). Album will be a 3,5-4

Actually, his screams were a little lacking on that song imo, but the guitar work is great.

I like the message of Rebellion, also it's easily the best song they've released for this album so far.

So, so far:
Lyrics - terrible
Rapping - awkward, a step down from ATS (really Mike's best)
I kind of like the intro riff, but they only use it for like 20 seconds in the song.
And did anyone notice the vocal melody is EXACTLY the same as in 'Guilty All the Same'? Chester has really gone down the drain.

The only good rapping song from ATS is When They Come For Me, and most of the lyrics suck on that song.

Waiting for the End has a great verse.

waiting to the end sound like a indie electro mash up between mr big and sugar ray, when they come for me has great rapping with the exception of the monkey part. Still rapping in its goin down and in most of the material of LP in early 00's is better than in ATS

Not to mention, Lost in The Echo practically brought back the nostalgia of the good days of LP.

GATS and rebellion are great, until is gone and wastelands are decent but not memorable, album is going to be 3,5-4. Lost in the echo rap is outstanding

Band ran out of good ideas.
