I'm sure it'll lovely romance rock no matter what they do.
| |
Fuck yes album will be top 10 of the year easy if it follows Weather Systems.
| |
hope its less gay than the last one
| |
love never dies kill
love and light and love and acapella
| |
yeah i want them to move away from that corny pop prog from the last 2 or 3 albums..
| |
bring back the doom /mn/nm/
| |
i did like the last 2 albums but yes i agree irongiant they need to move on (or if they moved back to judgement era it would still be ok in my book)
| |
Judgement is one of my favourite albums of all time. I liked their last couple of releases too. High hopes for this.
| |
internal landscapes and the storm before the calm on their last album were great
basically they still write good music but the lyrics could use a little work in a few songs
| |
even though it was gay i thought were here had some great songs
weather systems doesnt do too much for me though
| |
cant stand any of whbwh except the first two songs but i only listened to it like twice
| |
Will rule, no doubt.
| |
It's gettin' colda
| |
Weather systems' novelty really wore but Were here has some songs I'll always love
| |
Calm before storm... Brutal

"some tracks will have a slightly more electronic feel."
Oh boy. Can't say I didn't see that coming.
| |

| |
YES
I want to hear something different and interesting
| |
bring back the doom /mn/nm/
| |
I think this might just be a more edgy version of Weather Systems, I'm not expecting it to be radically different.
| |
sweet, excited!
| |
Yessssssssssssssssss
| |
What
Fuck
How did I not know this
'Electronic feel' Omair you should be happy
I'm glad they admit they were playing it safe and aren't just gonna give into the mainstream appeal
| |
"cant stand any of whbwh except the first two songs but i only listened to it like twice"
Kerfuffle my man you are missing out, A Simple Mistake, Get Off and Universal... and all the other tracks... are incredible
| |
FUCK YES!!!

Kerfuffle my man you are missing out, A Simple Mistake, Get Off and Universal... and all the other tracks... are incredible [2]
| |
Oh fuckin aye, so pumped.
| |
I bought Weather Systems but have barely listened to it. Hope this one has a little more magic.
| |
Even if their next album is some estrogenic hipster tripe, I'll probably still like it. One constant with this band is that they always seem to get the dynamics just right.
| |
FUCK YES!!! [2]
| |
"A Simple Mistake" is the best song that Anathema has released in years—maybe ever, but it's also the only standout track from their last three albums, combined. After Weather Systems I think I've finally come to a point where I've given up on ever hearing an Anathema album as enjoyable as Judgment or Alternative 4.
| |
The Beginning and the End, man
| |
"And my feelings will always shine."
| |
Ah the beginning and the end. Have to jam now
| |
pleeeease be better than weather systems
artwork is awesome and i like the fact they're going more into electronica because it hopefully means less orchestra
