The vocalist from the Color Morale isn't relying on studio production to make his screams listenable anymore (that's why their last album was borderline unlistenable for me) and I've always thought TGI were a one trick pony.

All we can do is wait and listen, as many of these bands could cover these songs in any way they can. I've listened to all the Punk Goes comps, and basically half the covers are garbage, one fourth is meh, and the rest are good.

The only good thing about these records is showing your friends that like one of the songs they cover the bastardized version of the song and laughing at their reaction.

Punk goes comps are at the same level of graveyard classics.

i think the cncc is the only thing i like on this. i was hoping to dig tgi but shit even they can't make p.o.d. cool. color morale covering everlong is boring because the song already rules by itself. hands like houses is probably second best. everything else gargles chode
