this should be good.

first link doesn't work..

bah, Sputnik coding. I think it should work if I take out the s
if not, here it is
https://plini.bandcamp.com/album/i
| |
man that plini guy is pretty known here
| |
yeh he is for sure, and rightfully so. this split should get Sithu even more exposure too
this is expectedly great btw
| |
i've listen to this like 6 times and sithu's side destroys plini's side. its like the billy rymer/mike portnoy drum-off I saw a while ago.
| |
Plini's side is subtler, so I'm not sure I'd say it was destroyed, anything like that. Although Moonrise is phenomenal, oh man
| |
yeah def more subtle but sithu's has variety, riffz, energy, everything I like about these guitarists.
| |
yeah i do get what you mean for sure. one thing they tried to do on this release was respectfully play off each others' styles, so maybe you could say Plini's sound is more conducive to what Sithu plays already.
| |
mmmm I see I see...
| |
this is fantastic
| |
"Happy progressive metal" fits Sithu Aye perfectly.
| |
Damn, already?
| |
Interesting to see some people also think Plini 'owned' Sithu
| |
great musicians
| |
Orm is the best song on this imo.
| |
this should be sweet, don't know much by either but that three-track EP Plini put out earlier this year was awesome
| |
second best EP this year. Only Taste of Silver was better.
| |
"second best EP this year. Only Taste of Silver was better."
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
| |
Plini is pretty fucking good. One of his ep's are on my best of 2013 list.
| |
this had to grow a little but by the third listen it was perfect
| |
Sweet, new Plini.
