Killer Be Killed join Nuclear Blast

2013-10-23 by Philip Whitehead | 20 Comments
The much anticipated supergroup consisting of Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Max Cavalera (Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy), Troy Sanders (Mastodon) and Dave Elitch (The Mars Volta) has announced new details regarding the collaboration. The group, which entered the studio in September without a name, has recently announced that its as-of-yet untitled debut album will be released in mid-2014 via Nuclear Blast, the label where Max Cavalera's main project Soulfly signed to earlier this year. The name of the band is now announced to be Killer Be Killed. It is unknown whether the group plans to perform live in support of the album due to the recording and touring commitments of the members.

I take it Greg's relationship with Jenna Haze left him a tad stuck on murder.

The title track from their last album is actually about Ben and Greg's relationships getting in the way of their friendship. Pretty interesting. So yeah, Jenna is definitely causing some issues.

When MetalSucks reported on it they thought it was quite clever as they spotted it may be a reference to a TDEP lyric in One of Us is the Killer

I have faith in Greg and Troy. Not sure the other two members will put in their all.

Greg and Max need to join the WWE and bring back the much needed respectability back to the game
