Not bad but the guitars are mixed really awkwardly.
| |
Mix is terrible wtf
| |
I enjoyed it.
| |
The mixes always seem weird on the Nuclear Blast YT tbh. Happened with Fleshgod Apocalypse too.
| |
Also NO WAGNER ANTICHRIST LAMOUNIER = NO SEPULTURA
| |
Oh right, it was the mixing. Thought that song felt kinda weird.
| |
Hell yeah, this is decent. Go Sepultura! :P
| |
Yeah the mix is kinda weird, but the song is decent.
| |
The mix/production makes this a tough listen, shame.
| |
definitely tried to make it sound 'weird' as part of their attempt to go in a Roots type direction. i think it's fine on this song but if it's like this across the whole album it could be rather tiring.
| |
I'll give it a try later.
| |
Someone in the YT comments called this metalcore.
fuck life i'm out
| |
any moderately fast paced metal seems to be called that by some idiot these days. yet the world keeps spinning, it'll all be ok.
| |
listened to it a few times, actually really like it
| |
"Sounds solid enough, cant wait for the album. Always preferred Derek as a vocalist to Max, but the band just hasnt been as good"
What in the actual fuuuck? I mean ok, music is a subjective thing but are you serious? The black guy is terrible! Max had (not anymore) one of the most iconic voices in all metal.
| |
Sounds perfectly fine to me. Song is gooder.
| |
how can anyone like that guitar sound?
song sucks
| |
fucking shit
| |
I agree with my good friend Kill
| |
Garbage.
| |
sepultura is and has long been dead
| |
r.i.p Sepultura ((1984-1993))
| |
If the whole album is as good as this track I think this will be the best effort since Chaos A.D. Whether you think that's much of an accomplishment is a different story.
Derrick sounds better here than he pretty much ever has. He's technically not a "bad" vocalist but the band's sound has never been convincing with him at the front. It never gels into something larger. But here he sounds OK. The chorus vocals are actually solid.
| |
Band still puts out quality music, far from garbage.
| |
Casagrande's drumming is definitely bringing back something Sepultura have been lacking since Iggor left. He's not at that level yet but he's only like 20 years old, he's got plenty of time. Think it's funny how Sepultura brought in a drummer that's young enough to be their son while Max has actually brought in his son at Soulfly.
