Not at all like "Brennisteinn" but a fantastic song nevertheless. Kind of reminds me of their sound on Takk...

this is such a fucking great song
anyone else hear a bit of Mew in this?
|
| |
brennisteinn was better, this is still alright
|
| |
It sounds like I just felt into the glacial waters of Antartic Ocean but was saved by a bypassing polar
bear telling me it's alright.
|
| |
What the fuck was Brennisteinn all about then? Introducing a new sound a just abandoning it?
|
| |
all the new tracks sounded to fit together well when i saw them live. this doesn't seem all that different from brennistein. it's like a darker take on the takk sound, i think.

| |
"What the fuck was Brennisteinn all about then? Introducing a new sound a just abandoning it?"
exactly. this is a step back imo
|
| |
pretty
|
| |
Yeah sounds like a darker version of the songs on Takk. Can't wait to hear the whole album.
|
| |
Doesn't sludge at all.
|
| |
"What the fuck was Brennisteinn all about then? Introducing a new sound a just abandoning it?
are you fucking kidding me right now
|
| |
this will easily slot into the new album alongside brennisteinn. this has the same restless clattering drums. and it's very different to takk's sound too.

Song is great, though.
|
| |
Awesome
|
| |
amazing song. this will make the looooong wait for Mew's next album that much easier.
|
| |
Sigur Ros know what they're doing people. When have they just made a collection of songs that don't work together as an album before? Have faith.
Good song
|
| |
i can really see this song fit the album well even though it's not that great in its own
|
| |
Oh my
|
| |
