Not a very inspired melody or lyrics from her. But Lana's voice plus a full orchestra... you can't really go wrong.

ratings are unreiliable, you could've rated born to die months and months ago and you changed your opinion on it, yet you havent changed your rating of it, the variables that are plausible for this particular situation are astounding and yet, you proceed to swiftly dismiss them all??? ???? ?????

i expected more

Cygnatti

He did change his opinion. He changed Born to die from a 4 to a 3.5.

amemento

see andcas, my point has been proven and do not fucking tell him the dos and donts of what to say when every word you type is a contradiction upon itself. 3.5 is rather fence-sitting for my tastes, especially when you changed it from a 4
do you like her? do you not like her? do you love her? i cant tell due to your incompetence to not 'speak in code'

I like the idea of Lana as a pop star but the music she makes is insultingly mediocre. She has no ear for melody that isn't spoon fed to her.

dude are you listening to anything i say if you want to make a claim about me provide evidence please my english teacher told me as much

firstly i will not deny that you contribute more to this site than I do, that is obvious, but i will neither accept that I contribute nothing as I have plenty of reviews lined up, along with lists and various other things beneficial to the integrity of the site. Secondly, 'userS?' Really? I don't see how I can follow you around seeing as it's a fucking INTERNET WEBPAGE, and you're the only person who i do 'follow' so the use of plural was an absolute waste of a character. Thirdly, how can you fail at everything except being a shitty troll. If you're a shitty troll, doesn't that mean you've failed at that as well? Also, judging by your nearly always outraged reaction to my very insignificant slights, I would contend that I am not a shitty troll to you, in fact I would contend I am not a troll, I just like pointing out your ineffencies. Finally, the Russo-Japanese War concluded through the Treaty of Portsmouth highlighted the inefficiencies of the Russian Government and fuelled an already widespread anti-Tsarist sentiment which created the perfect conditions for significant political overhaul. The ending of this war on the 5th of September 1905 made the Tsar turn the entirety of his focus back onto the dire economic and social situation in Russia, one that he had completely ignored through the course of the war. The Tsar was able to stifle the revolutionary situation that had been created through the difficulties of the war through the drafting of legislation called the October Manifesto. This was written by Sergei Witte and Alexi Obelensky and was issued on the 17th of October 1905. The Manfiesto was able to blanket all of the social uprisings caused by the Japanese-Russo war as it gave the Industrial class the rights they had been longing for, along with representation in parliament. This significant political change and social upheaval with the removal of censorship is what is referred to as the 1905 revolution. Though for the time being the Tsar had avoided a revolution, the political, social and economical pressures of the war developed a revolutionary situation within Russia, and the October Manifesto was the result of this.
