Stay tuned for more bananas from the site's resident wannabe Aussie (if they'd just get rid of those damn spiders and drop bears!).
So keen for this album. Been way way too long. New single was good, chorus was kinda boring but that string bit at the end yum
The drop bears and bunyips are the least of your worries mate. It's the fuckin magpies that are lethal
The cellist and violinist he has with him on this tour are phenomenal. I wish I had a better camera than I did when it comes to photographs. Took some video of "Mad World" tonight (they made the second verse heavier -- not sure if it was because they're with MSI, some other one-time thing, or if it's a permanent fixture). They played a couple legit new songs and then a handful of remakes/revisits/updates to older material.
And the spiders? Still a no.
Kinda weird they're touring with a joke band like MSI but not the first time either. Yeah, it kind of sounds like this album is a bit more rock focused than their last couple of EPs so maybe it is a permanent thing. What's the theme of their stage show atm?
Eh, most of the ones you're gonna walk into are harmless. The cities are pretty safe. Except for the magpies. Kind of amazed no one has made a movie where a mad scientist teaches them to use rifles.
I feel like i've been waiting for their album to come out my whole life

I feel like it's a really obvious troll, that they're just never going to release that album. I mean, the title even says it's never coming.
Considering they're meant to be doing the Aussie tour to coincide with it's release, that'd be the cruelest fucking dick move ever

They're still doing geishas in terms of costumes and the body canvases were still extraterrestrial in nature. It was tough to say what Trash was... he looked like he was out of a Russian-tinged Star Wars because he had a gremlin in his backpack/satchel and was wearing an ushanka.
Thought it said New Red House Painters. Almost. *slips back into eternal bedroom depression*
