I needed a good laugh and distraction today. This is serving well.

It had some decent tunes I'll admit. But nothing I would genuinely care about. I may have been put off slightly by my twin sister's obsession with them back then (oddly enough she was into the pseudo-emo thing around that time and I had a preference for alt-hip-hop and electronica like Gorillaz and even Moby but now roles have somewhat reversed as she prefers pop and I prefer metal).

Danger Days really wasn't very good, but Conventional Weapons was a step in the right direction and, hate their image etc. but...they have put out some decent music in the past. Black Parade is still a top album.
I'm actually a little disappointed with this.

Well, that's a shame.

Granted, I would've been extremely disappointed if they broke up after TBP, but Danger Days was really bland, so it kinda lessens the impact a bit. Still, these guys were a major reason for me getting into music when I was younger.

Was shocked to hear this. My music taste has changed a lot but MCR were my first fav band so they always have had a place in my heart. I was sad to hear this but at the same time it felt like My Chemical Romance broke up when danger days was released. I was looking forward to there new release to since it was supposed to be darker but its better to remember them for the 3 awesome records they released instead of them further deviating from what made them so loveable I guess!

MCR are a great band. Fan base sucks but it doesn't mean they do. They have a great range of tunes. Danger Days was kinda shitty but I Brought You Bullets, Three Cheers and Black Parade were strong releases for a mainstream rock band.

Sucks, I enjoyed these guys.

I've got mixed feelings over this. This band sucked, but i had a huge phase with them back in early high school. Whatever, good riddance.
