I hope the new record goes back to their early sound (it probably won't but I still hope for that). I've lost most of my interest in their music since they were inactive for half a decade.

I actually think such a long gap between records will have done a lot of good. They were going badly downhill, but a lengthy break and essentially getting their best lineup back together might have recharged the batteries.

That second clip sounds like it comes from a pretty filthy and doomy riff, which is awesome.

I enjoyed Era Vulgaris even though it was slightly different from the discography. Right now a return to straightforward rock would be great IMO, but with so many guests and expansive projects, it will probably be a really eclectic record.

Those 5 second clips didn't really do much for me (how could they?), but I'm super stoked for this album.

It is obscenely worthless to tease 7 songs with five seconds. Why not tease one or two songs for 30 seconds?

Nick recorded vocals for one song on the album, and they're not leads. that's his entire involvement on the record.

I think they're trying to give a feel of the album without actually giving away too much material. so people get excited about it but still pining for more.

ALso, I'm stoked. been closely following the leadup to this!

A few of these samples were promising, good to see them back would have been sad to finish a badass band with era vulgaris
