it's been out for awhile now

It came out a year ago....
I was hoping they'd make a video for Shine or This Fire...
Video is weird, but I guess I'm not surprised. It's called Hands and Faces after all, I should have expected a bunch of hands covering faces.

Hey, cool, one of my favorite tracks.
|
| |
"bet Bert wore those weird costumes just for his own fun"
comment made me laugh for some reason
|
| |
this is pretty easily the best track from this album, imo, so i can't argue with the song choice, but why even bother trying to promote this album still?
|
| |
All their songs sound the same.

^ This doesn't sound anything like their first two albums, at least.
Kinda gave up on The Used after In Love and Death... I think I made the right choice. The video is weird and okay; the song isn't very memorable, except it has a cool bridge.
On a side note, Bert's voice has definitely been giving out recently. He can't hit those high notes live like he used to.

| |
surprisingly solid
|
| |
This is a brill song
|
| |
Ok

| |
I miss when this band was good. Back in 2002 s/t was awesome.

in love and death > self-titled
yeah I know, blasphemy and such
|
| |
the album before this = severely underrated
|
| |
so much acne after this video was made I bet..

I don't know what you guys are talking about, Bert has still got it. I saw the Used on their most recent tour and they slayed.
|
| |
so he can still hit all the same notes live?
|
| |
Definitely. "Taste of Ink" and "I Caught Fire" as well as other old tracks were very well done.
|
| |
stoked to hear that
|
| |
"the album before this = severely underrated"
No way, it was pointless and thats just it.
|
| |
Not bad.

Artwork has good tracks but I feel like it was one of those albums that just kind of came and went
|
| |
every album after in love and death pretty much did
|
| |
In Love And Death was not that good. It was inconsistent and kinda messy.
All their albums have been good. Some have been growers, some have been inconsistent, but they're a decent band.
|
| |
"In Love And Death was inconsistent and kinda messy."
agreed hard
i really like that album, but man the tonal shifts are ridiculous
haven't listened to vulnerable yet
honestly i think i like artwork the best out of any of their albums. feels the most cohesive
|
| |
disagree hard. there's not one bad song on that album.
the nostalgic factor is always through the roof as well.
|
| |
i really don't like sound effects and overdramatics, but otherwise i agree that they're all good songs. i just don't think the album flows well as a whole, especially the second half
|
| |
Your nostalgia blinds you, andcas.
|
| |
nah. in love and death is fucking awesome all the way through.
|
| |
a lot of the songs are really fun to play on guitar too.
