Post-hardcore band, Our Last Night, have recently released their cover of Adele's "Skyfall". It was released with an accompanying studio-setting performance, and it can be viewed here:
I thought this was going to be a disaster but holy fuck that was good!
Digging: Waxahatchee - American Weekend
yeah expected a mess too, but it's passable.
pretty damn good
soo fucking good.
Digging: Of Mice & Men - Restoring Force
the notes he hits at the end gave me goosebumps
clearly not feeling the feels i'm feeling.
Very, very good cover.
yeah dude tearful performance
kicks the shit out of adele's version
yeah, i cried.
nah, adele's better
this didn't make me tired
i'd fuck adele.
These guys have awesome potential
that singer is so fucking cute o.o
nice spin on the song, good shit
wow that actually blew me away
Found this last week. Really glad they just did their own arrangement without destroying the song with needless breakdowns and screams. Very tasteful cover. Minus the heavy Melodyne.
I'm actually really surprised that this is pretty good. Was expecting junz.
no the singer of the band obviously u fuckin tard
thnk 4 the clarification 0:
drummer kills it as well
I HOPE YOUR CUMFTERBOWLLL
that was the best post hardcore cover ive heard in the longest time.
does your name have anything to do with osu?
fuck that was really good
if anything, this is just a really catchy song. wouldn't say this is too special
what are you talking about that cover is powerful enough to melt a viking into a pool of raw emotion
That was pretty cool.
yea pretty good
srsly tho had no idea this band had such a beautiful singer ._____________.
i want to get my virginity back so he can take it
New alt: busterhymen
or howie feltersnatch
Wow that was an awesome cover
Digging: Mansions - Doom Loop
I thought this was decent, why all the praise?
Because its decent and 98% of covers in the genre are utter garbage.
Yeah I can dig this. But the ones with excessive screaming are funny. Especially when shown to the original artists, e.g. Adele's reaction to Amyst's take on Rolling In The Deep: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aomGUKNsHfo
Love how the keep the essential feel of the song. Plus I'd bang that dude omg lolz
Dayum. Surprisingly good.
The band has never sucked, their last release was just mediocre compared to their first couple albums. This cover rules.
damn that was great
I used to know these dudes on a personal lever, kinda a bunch of douches.
punk goes pop vol. 34534053045345
Digging: Minor Threat - Complete Discography
Really good cover.
That actually is pretty good
Doesn't stray too far away from the original though apart from the guitars
Digging: JMSN - ?Pllajė?
Average cover. Pretty boring tbh
That's a good cover.
It is pretty tasteful.
Fuck this is good!
always liked OLN's older stuff
Digging: Hammock - Oblivion Hymns
Very nice cover, preferred over the original x10
Digging: Jhene Aiko - Sail Out
now go back to the ghosts among us sound
saw this a few days ago. good stuff
I remember listening to the song for the first time and thinking it had great potential to be a rock song. These guys got it down pretty well.
Digging: Anamanaguchi - Endless Fantasy
Digging: Daylight Dies - A Frail Becoming
that was cool
yeah that chorus really sounds great.
are these guys worth checking out?
are these guys worth checking out?
are these guys worth checking out?
eh theyre ok, but kind of boring imo. if you like post hardcore then you might want to check them out, but dont expect to be blown away or anything
Been listening to some of their album We Will All Evolve. It's pretty good. Kinda reminds me of stuff along the lines of Silverstein, Pierce The Veil, etc., but with better clean vocals.
Came out of nowhere, I thought it would really suck!
they make decent post hardcore with decent guitars and decent cleans
"are these guys worth checking out?"
yeah but be warned that their first two albums are much different than their latest. they kinda went for a more softer approach like this cover.
i now enjoy this band quite a bit.
Their latest kind of reminds me of what Hopesfall did on A Types. It has a lot more alt rock with some shades of post hardcore.
I liked Evolve the most from what I heard from each album. It seemed pretty similar to Ghosts but with better vocals.
God damn, that was surprisingly good. Those two, the brothers and vocalists look and sound so damn similar. Took me two runs to even realize both of them were on this.
Digging: Shreddy Krueger - The Grieving
Posted this because I was pretty stunned how sick it was. I'm a fan of these guys, but I thought this was pretty amazing.
I watched it 3 times before I realized the vocalists alternated lines and were 2 different people cause they sound/look so much alike.
I only could tell the difference by one wearing a necklace
I thought it was just the same guy wearing a different shirt. Damn
This band is corny
Digging: Iron Chic - The Constant One
Cover still slays
did anyone listen to their new Rihanna cover?
Just did, band is pretty damn good at covers
