Ten Years After guitarist Alvin Lee died yesterday (March 6th 2013) due to complications during a scheduled routine
surgery at the age of 68.
Didn't know he was in a band called Ten Years After so this read pretty weird at first lol but yeah RIP
never jammed em rip
This is why he was a popular search on Bing today...
This is terrible news. Truly a master guitar player and very humble guy. RIP
A very talented guitarist indeed, I might want to check out more of his stuff sometime. RIP.
Don't know this band, but its always a shame when a classic rock musician passes on. RIP.
Damn this sucks, RIP. Awesome guitarist.
Digging: Oneohtrix Point Never - Commissions II
jamie dude which album should i check
The first line took me a few reads to understand
@KILL: Check Cricklewood Green first and then A Space in Time.
I saw this guy share the stage with many blues/rock greats the couple times I was at crossroads. I can't say he's been a huge influence on my playing, but he was a master
Digging: Ski Mask Malley - Ski Mask Malley Vol. 1
he was fucking brilliant
Sad news... RIP

"I can't say he's been a huge influence on my playing, but he was a master"
Yeah, he could play as fast as anyone but his phrasing was also great. For anyone who wishes to listen
to a song of his, 'The Bluest Blues' is awesome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apzNkhqkF8U
