Arsis Album Info
2013-03-05 by Andrew Gold | 21 Replies | 1188 Views

Technical death metal band Arsis has announced that their fifth studio LP Unwelcome will be released on April 30, 2013 in North America via Nuclear Blast records. Singer/guitarist James Malone commented on the record:

"Of all the albums we have done, Unwelcome is an album that I wanted to define the band's sound. We were all focused for the writing and recording and the end product reflects this."

Bassist Noah Martin added: "Down to the artwork, Unwelcome is by far the most raw and brutal album ARSIS has released with Nuclear Blast."

The band also stated they would have a busy 2013 touring season, but no dates have been announced so far.

Never been a big fan of these guys but if they say it's the heaviest thing they've ever done then maybe I will give it a listen.

Their last EP was insane and was a real return to their roots. I'll definitely be checking this out.

A Celebration of Guilt was amazing. The rest of their Discog left a LOT to be desired. Let's see if they step it up with this release.
