The vocalist is terrible anyway. He cups the mic way too much (COUGH the opening scream to the opening song COUGH). hes absolute terrible.

In rereleasing it? nothing . the production was one of the only tolerable things about teh original.

Its just an attempt to swipe the cash from the pockets of these scene kids with their fringes past their eyes and studded belts. Shameless cash theft is all it is.

I liked bits of A New Era because at least that was more "pure" than the shit breakdown infested buttfuckery they use on their other albums. Reprogrammed To Hate and The Darkest Day Of Man were good aside from that idiot from Deftones' shit vocals on the former.
And yeah im refering to these assholes who think Bring Me The BallSacks are the best band in existance and that Mitch Lucker wasnt an alcoholic idiot but was in fact the best vocalist ever

There's nothing positive to say about a band like this because all they did is rip off Suffocation but without the creativity and instead of slams that at least take talent to make perfect, they used shit open strings .

sounds slighty different, i stopped loving this band a while ago, but hey phil is one hell of a vocalist. Still think This Is Exile is incredible though.....

They are that fucking bad indeed. I hate deathcore, im not a big fan of pure death despite having heard a lot of it, prefer black metal.

i dont hate deathcore, i used to be in love with it. I still listen here and there but it hasnt really been my music of choice in a while...im all about that hardcore in all forms

Remaster sounds quite a bit more crisp. Not nearly as muddy and the drums are a lot more refined than they were which is good because the drumming is the only remotely decent part about this band.

Just listened to both for comparison's sake. This version sounds a lot more muddled, a lot thinner, loses a lot of the low end, and just all around isn't as good. I feel like if anything, the original version sounds more like a remastered version of this remix.

A New Era is the only album I can really stand anymore and I haven't listened to that in over a year. That said, Possession is the best song they'll ever write.

A New Era has their two best songs (Reprogrammed To Hate and Darkest Days Of Man) but it still sucks.

I toured with these guys - they're fucking airtight live. Also, Phil is a very fucking capable vocalist and is a killer frontman. Not to mention, their new drummer Ben Harclarode is a fucking machine.
