The album is great, albeit a bit too long.

You mean November 2012.

The single, "How Long" really shat on my expectations. An Omen was pretty decent, but that song was/is unforgivably awful.

"You mean November 2012."

My bad, I definitely meant 2012. Check it out despite that song, there are definitely some really awesome parts on the record.

I understand you dig it, heya. I just am not feeling the material that wasn't on An Omen. A lot of it feels like the rejected outtakes from Year Zero funneled through three separate artistic visions. I am actually kinda surprised as this is the first Reznor release since broken (sorry, I strongly prefer fixed) that I feel underwhelmed by.

Very impressed so far, this band seems to be coming into its own. They've come a long way since the debut EP, which I thought was pretty below average

On the album, How Long? is a bit of an oddity, though.

I like How Long, I don't see why others say it's a weak track.

Wouldn't say it's weak, either, but it is a bit corny.

insomniac, it is bearable up till the hook. The hook is so unbearable due to its pseudo gospel angle and its melody being so bland.

It works well within the record's context. I like it.

Eh, maybe it is just me. Wouldn't be the first time. I just am surprised that the first EP is what will be remembered as "that bad one".
