sucks

Not what I was hoping for. That stupid thing Ben does with his voice is cringeworthy. And this is coming from someone who is obsessed with Give Up. I prefer it to any Deathcab album, except MAYBE Transatlanticism.

I don't think anything Postal Service does is a 'giant cash grab'.
|
| |
you sure about that
|
| |
As Postal Service has never been a hugely profitable group, yes, I'm sure about that.
|
| |
song's good
|
| |
song suck
|
| |
Ben has become unbearable to me
|
| |
The vocals seem a little too pronounced, but dang that instrumental is so sweet.

Anything Ben Gibbard does will sell, whether a Death Cab album, a Postal Service album, a solo tour, or a Postal Service Re-union tour, they will all sell. Anything he does could be called a cash grab. How about the fact that the Postal Service came out in '03 and that many of Death Cab's fans didn't come around to them until Plans, so they have this huge part of their audience that found out about the Postal Service years after they were split and never had the chance to see some of the material played live. Oh and also how about giving Ben credit for constantly touring and writing new music rather than just resting on his laurels.
