Mechina have announced a newly remastered version of their latest album, Empyrean, for
release on March 1st. Previous buyers of the physical first pressing should expect an email
between now and the first week of March with details on how to acquire a digital copy of the
newly remastered version.
In the meantime, check out this cover of Fear Factory's "Zero Signal" below:
Preorders of the Empyrean V.2 can be made here:
In other news Slaughter of the Soul has just been remixed and remastered with 3 bonus b-sides from the SOTS recording period and two dubstep remixes of Under The Serpent Sun and Flames of the End.
Digging: HIM - Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights
ew gay get your dumb news out of my good news
remaster of a record that came out a couple weeks ago?
yup there were a lot of complaints and they listened to their fans
I thought the production was pretty tight as it was
well then you should enjoy the remaster!
I payed for both of their CDs (each 20 bucks), seems I got ripped off, no order confirmation, no email replies, no delivery , nothing.... pretty angry at those guys.
really? shoot them a fb message, they're pretty responsive on there
I actually really disliked the production the first time around, maybe this will make it a little more listenable for me.
I do not have a facebook account and I think trying to contact them 3 times is more than enough...
sb me your email and I'll get them in touch with you
Hopefully they fixed the cleans.
Digging: Boards of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest
production was the worst part of the album. i'm intrigued
yea im betting youll dig this version better
I would love to pm you my email but I cannot see a way to pm someone on sputnik here, maybe I am blind tho :O
click my name the shoutbox is at the bottom ill just tell them to shoot you an email and get this sorted out
fucking cool. that was the only real problem i had with that album.
Fucking love that album. I personally didn't find the production all that bad, but if they improve it I certainly won't complain.
like the album alot, but the production was awful. i bought it on itunes, hopefully i can get a remaster
what exactly was bad about the production on the first release? (i haven't heard it)
Digging: Elliott Smith - From a Basement on the Hill
for me it was just that the guitars and drums were mixed too low and were drowned out by the orchestra. reminded me of ...And justice for all. no audible bass. etc.
i wrote these guys on facebook explaining that i purchased the album on itunes, but i still wanted a remaster. they responded immediately and offered to email a digital copy to me free of charge. Very professional and responsive to their fans.
This sounds kinda stupid actually, but I thought the production was pretty ass so I'm fine.
ok i guess i will wait for this version to drop
still haven't heard this been meaning to
Digging: Bomb the Music Industry! - Goodbye Cool World!
hmm i might need to get a physical copy instead of spotifying everything
also I agree with renegadestrings. No bass whatsoever
'no problem dude, messaged. i also got a fb message'
mechina will be emailing you if they haven't already
