thrift shop isn't even the 3rd best song on the album

mia - bad girls
good music - clique
the shins - simple song
kendrick lamar - swimming pools
grimes - genesis
frank ocean - thinkin bout you
grimes - oblivion
lana del rey - born to die

all worthy songs

lol at knife party being on there though. not getting the hype for that disclosure song either. It's
ok, I guess.

surprised lost by frank ocean is so high. pyramids should be there instead

list is ok

Am I the only one who has no idea who Flume is or why he is on this list?

I actually really like Thrift Shop. The music is OK, but the lyrics are really funny, and it's always fun to sing along to with a group of friends.

Gaslight was on their bro, but in the 90s.
Was a good day sinking beers and listening to the countdown, stoked Flume and Chance Waters did well and the top 10 is decent, Kendrick should have had more/higher.
And backlash towards Thrift Shop is ridiculous, fucking hipsters.

I'm normally a triple j apologist but I wasn't that impressed by this years. Thrift Store is a dumb novelty as well, if Macklemore was gonna win it should have been Same Love

"thrift shop isn't even the 3rd best song on the album"

Exactly this. My inner hipster rages at people who haven't even heard Same Love or Neon Cathedral.

Thrift Shop is pretty refreshing and awesome, but Shad (Canadian rapper) already perfected that song year ago. It's the exact same concept but his flow is way better, his lines are funnier, and the track is just way better.

mad props for Mackelmore though, it's an honour that he definitely deserves. Tell me Shad didn't do this whole schtick way better like 5 years ago though:
