How was this egotistical? Omar doesn't care about TMV anymore (their last album is testament to that) and Cedric wanted to tour behind it and bring the band back to snuff, but it never happened. They went out with a whimper, not a bang.

Kinda sucks, but their last album makes me glad they aren't making another one.

I do wonder what's going on between Cedric and Omar since they've been friends for so long and it seems they're pulling apart. Hope everything goes well between them so they can work on something together again.

This sucks, TMV were such an awesome band. Deloused, Amputechture, and FTM are among my favorite albums.

Never got to see them after all this time. Would've been great for that tour to happen, even on this album we would've heard some old stuff for sure.

his ego is enormous and it makes it impossible for musicians to work with him. why do you think they go through members like nobody's business? that's why thomas pridgen left, cuz he couldn't deal with cedric. i saw them live the first time pridgen played and cedric got pissed that he messed up part of a song and grabbed one of his cymbals and just threw it straight at the dudes kit, fucking everything up. he's a crazy perfectionist and he can't co-exist with that many people. the only reason he and omar lasted so long together was because they're both so fucking brilliant they were just on the same wave-length creativly

From what I read that was Cedric fucking up, not because he's a douche. He fucks up pretty regularly
with all the crazy shit he does on stage, at one point he even hit one of the band members with the
microphone(I think the bassist?).

And Cedric and Omar have known each other since they were like 14 or 15, they even lived in the same place
when younger I think, it has nothing to do with "same wave-length of creativity", they've been
friends(they often even say basically brothers) since forever.

Damn, never got to see them live. Missed them in 2009. Feel so stupid now. Well, hopefully Cedric will make something new that'll he'll take on tour. His voice is incredible, so seeing him live would possibly do the trick.

Unless either of them puts out something REALLY GOOD (like Frances good) in the next few years, sooner or later Cedric and Omar will probably do something together again.

Lots of people seem to be getting Omar and Cedric confused...And I think of a lot of their music was hit or miss, at least with the mid-end albums...Some songs were definitely over the top and sounded pretty similar and the later albums Cedric's voice was getting painfully difficult to handle...I miss their De Loused and Frances the Mute style

From the live videos that I've seen...yeah. They're definitely not as energetic now and the fact that Cedric 'sings' instead of shouting, yelling, screaming, etc. Is just kind of irritating. All that aside, I'd still see them lol.
