I'm not a Met hater but I just wish they would write more records instead of releasing so many live albums/DVDs and touring so much. They're gonna kill themselves from overexposure by playing live too much. Just like how KISS is fading away, writing shitty records and announcing farewell tours and then still play a ton of tours, now they're playing smaller and smaller venues and crappy festivals. Still arenas but their numbers are dwindling. They couldn't fill up a decent-sized venue to save their lives if they weren't co-headlining w/ Motley Crue. Come to think of it, that's probably WHY they're co-headlining

First St. Anger, then Lulu, and now a fucking 3D film. I just don't get how this band has fans still.

Their old material still attracts people. Anyways almost every band in rock and metal has big letdowns, slayer, judas priest, maiden, guns n roses, ac/dc, queensryche, megadeth,exodus, in flames and more, even zeppelin and pink floyd have in their discography a bunch of dissapointing albums; but if the band has some material which is solid and has been influential they will still have a solid fanbase. When bands like this release an album the best reaction is just to forget that work and enjoy their previous efforts which are more solid.
