This sucks. I know Brandon was moving on to his gym business, but damn. Declaration was one of my favorite albums.
| |
Making music was getting in the way, they will now go on to be tough guys full time
| |
it's about time
| |
fuck all you. band rules. news blows
| |
I enjoyed their last album. sucks.
| |
Well damn
| |
I'VE SACRIFICED ENOUGH FOR THIS LIFE, SO GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY WAY.
| |
sucks I won't get anymore gym music from them now, declaration was quality for that occasion
| |
boring band
| |
Don't really care. The only song I ever listened to by them was Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire but the end part was so bad I had to skip it.
| |
never got into these guys even in my melocore days
| |
flutter you can't talk when you listen to even worse metalcore
| |
the core part 5, will fill up 7/50 slots

Had a sort of half love half hate affair with this band for the last 10 years. This Is Love and Declaration are both stellar albums. Everything else they've done is slightly above average. Sad news still.
| |
I think brandon is still in Sorrows, formerly Suffer Well, but I could be wrong.
| |
Don't care band was boring
| |
I did wonder how this band found the motivation to keep going for so long when considerably more mediocre bands were having more success. I wish them well myself. They have made priceless contributions to the limited world of good fecking music.
That said, I hope Marta takes the news badly and ends up in Nuts or Playboy as a result. The lube and quilted toilet tissue is on stand by
| |
Kinda gutted, these guys were like my fave band for a good few years.
| |
I always had a soft spot for This Is Love, This Is Murderous but this doesn't really matter.
| |
never got into these guys even in my melocore days [2]
Same, even when I went through my big metalcore phase, these guys never really did too much for me. The Truth had a few decent tracks, but nothing too mindblowing. Might give the rest of their stuff a listen someday.
| |
WTF
| |
Shit, this is a punch to the groin, BT has been a big part of my life for the past 10 years.
| |
Band hasn't been good for a long time
| |
Don't really care that much, but I still always thought this band was cool.
| |
Oh well. I was hoping they'd put out another album like Declaration, but that was probably unlikely anyway.
| |
Thank the heavens, although I'll give them props for being around for 14 years.
| |
Mac from Its always sunny is gonna be pissed
| |
lol Mac would like Bleeding Through.
| |
Huh never noticed that, haven't watched the show in a while since I don't really watch tv.
| |
Ooo, neat. Dennis probably listens to em.
| |
This is some shitty news.
| |
Its always sunny is amazing
| |
I havent watched any of the new stuff but as soon as danny devito got on the show it was great. I still like the 1st season though
| |
Mac from Its always sunny is gonna be pissed
What?
I did see the Thrice sticker.
Some of my most memorable moshing came from seeing these guys live. Sucks that they're breaking up but i'd like to go to Cali and check out his gym. MLB draft pick turned metal singer turned gym owner, that's pretty fucking awesome in my opinion.
| |
Very cool. It's also pretty cool that they've managed to keep most of the original if not most of their classic lineup for this many years. Danough was the only key player that departed. Shit I remember the days when I first started listening to Love Lost In A Hail of Gunfire. Sorry im getting nostalgic as fuck.
| |
After wanting to see these guys for so long I had the chance to see them once in 2010 and it totally lived up to my hype. I'll always have a soft spot for BT even when im 40...I'll probably be a manchild at that point so it wouldn't be surprising. My favorite show of all time, surpassing even Circle Takes The Square, Agalloch and Loma Prieta who I really loved.
| |
this fucking sucks. Declaration still is the balls of metalcore.
| |
Remember watching the music video for "Love Lost....." Do a barrel roll!
| |
Somewhat not surprised since their last 2 albums were meh. Declaration was great though.
| |
i assumed this happened about 5 years ago.
| |
They had a good run, come on. They had some alright material
| |
Forgot about these dudes. Remember seeing one of their first music videos and dug it but then from then after I tried to listen to more from them but never really could.
| |
A great fucking run. One of the last remaining, quality acts from the early 00's metalcore explosion. AILD has clearly worsened in quality, this band though has been consistent.
| |
Forgot about ETID although I never got into their sound. I bought Gutter Phenomenon for some reason back in the day and all it's done over the years is collect rust.
| |
on wings of lead was one of my fav song back in the days.
| |
I did like Maylene and watching them play Wylie live was probably one of the most fun things ever.
| |
Too bad. Declaration was a great album.
| |
Bleeding Through and AILD were so much weaker than Lamb of God, Atreyu, Killswitch Engage, and ETiD.
They were better than Otep, Magna-Fi, It Dies Today, Bury Your Dead, Wicked Wisdon, and Devildriver.
Guess they were on the same level as Trivium, Darkest Hour and Throwdown.
Obviously Unearth and Soilwork were better as well.
| |
Just rolled over and i forgot Lacuna Coil. there i got all of the bands on my t-shirt
| |
yea she was such a babe tho
| |
sucks, these guys had ups and downs but declaration was awesome
| |
Ascendancy, The End of Heartache, Stabbing The Drama, Vendetta, The Oncoming Storm, The Curse and the one actually solid Devildriver album Fury Of Our Maker's Hand. All key albums. Lol Wicked Wisdom and Otep.. Needs moar 100 Demons and Sinai Beach.
| |
Darkest Hour's Undoing Ruin. Love how Victory Records 1. used to have good bands and 2. gave out free samplers of other fun bands.
| |
lol sinai beach
| |
Better than A Perfect Murder
| |
Never cared about these guys.
| |
They're a shit band anyway. No loss.
| |
My sister used to be such a fan-girl over these guys. Today shall be a dark day for her, I guess.
| |
Let the condolences begin!
| |
I'm with balls on this, these guys were a big part of my life and listening in general after i heard them about 11 years ago. Although my tastes hav changed alot over the years ive always enjoyed these guys, their music has gotten me through alot of shit and some brutal gym sessions. Still pretty gutted theyre calling it a day. Also Sinai beach need more love around here too
| |
You should marry my sister, I swear. Hahaha
