New KMFDM track
2012-11-22 by Raul Stanciu CONTRIBUTOR | 7 Replies | 1075 Views

KMFDM have made available for streaming on Soundcloud the title track from their upcoming record Kunst, due to be released on February 26 through Metropolis Records. The song makes various references to other tracks released by the band and the infamous "Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode" chant, once rumored to be one of the meanings behind KMFDM.

"Kunst" can be listened to here - http://soundcloud.com/metropolisrecords/kmfdm-kunst

sounds close to Krank, but it's cool

Is it bad that I rather stopped caring about bands with a more traditional industrial sound/background?

Might eventually check the album out though.

Recycled riffs yeah, I love to have the feeling that I've already heard a song when it is the first time I listen to it. Lyrics please. As if we needed to hear "Inane II." Instant worst kmfdm opener ever. Maybe not that bad as a joke but... I thought I was gonna hear a song.

Looks like Sascha finally clicked that all of the new ideas he's brought to KMFDM since Adios have blown, so now it's just derivative self-homages. Catchy and well-produced for sure, but god this is soulless. I really wish they'd break up or just do something new, not this cheerleader shit an instrumental album maybe?

It had a couple yeah, but they sound so exhausted recently, physically and creatively. They're acting like they still have it but they don't

KMFDM always sounded the same. Well on the most part. I don't really care anymore if each song is similar. As long as the riffs are still sweet and the beats are still banging im happy.
